OPINION
These Liverpool fans seem pretty unhappy with Milner’s display in the first 45 minutes against Napoli, and you can see why. The experienced midfielder was not on his best form to start with against the Serie A giants, and looked slightly tired in all honesty. That is in many ways to be expected with Liverpool’s packed schedule of fixtures, with Milner playing a regular part for the Reds over the past few weeks. The 32-year-old has become a key player for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield despite countless incomings in midfield, and that is testament to his professionalism and adaptability as a player. Liverpool fans will be hoping that Milner gets back to his best in the second half against Napoli as the Reds search for an important second successive win which would put them top of their Champions League group. PSG’s win over Red Star Belgrade will see them top the group if that does not happen.
