Liverpool are reportedly considering a January swoop for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, and many fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news.
Liverpool fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news, with many seemingly keen on a move for the Wales international as they look to add creativity to their midfield.
Live 4 Liverpool have rounded up some of the best tweets below.
A January move for Ramsey would be a bold one for Liverpool, who would be snapping up one of their top-six rivals’ best players for a cut-price fee. The 27-year-old has been one of the Gunners’ best performers over the past season or so, and there is no doubt that he would be a good addition for the Reds, with these fans below certainly agreeing. Klopp’s side have been lacking a bit of creativity down the middle this season, and Ramsey would bring that in abundance. However, there is also an argument that they should just wait and try and nab Ramsey on a free transfer over the summer after his contract with Arsenal is at an end. There is also those who will think that Ramsey will not add enough, and would prefer a move for someone like Nabil Fekir, who they nearly signed in the summer. Whether Ramsey would actually want to make the move is something that also needs to be considered, with it being likely that he would merely be a squad player at Anfield.
Would love a January transfer window of Fekir and Ramsey!! #LFC

Never been Ramsey’s biggest fan but he could turn out to be another Milner-type signing for us, no doubt he’s got the work rate for our system like.

Less than 25m, yes I’d think he would be a goer for that amount. Would have less of the settling in period that Keita and Fabinho so could a lot straight in.

I think it’s too good to be true, but if it was 100% take him
