Liverpool have never really been known for lacking the talent in attack, but it is safe to say that the goals have dried up in comparison to their performances last season.
While red hot during the last campaign, this time around they have been struggling to find the back of the net too often, a weakness that was exposed when they were only able to put one past Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
No disrespect to the Terriers, but the Reds should be putting a lot more past them than just one goal.
If there is one thing that is not happening, it is sufficient service being provided to the strikers – and another winger is needed to address the ongoing problem,
Liverpool must hijack Tottenham’s hunt for Dynamo Kiev starlet Viktor Tsyhankov, a player that the Reds have been keeping tabs on according to Team Talk.
However, Spurs have been reported as being near to completing a deal for the Euro dazzler, but that does not mean that Jurgen Klopp cannot intervene with a last-minute hijack.
Tsyhankov has bagged himself an astonishing figure of 25 goals in 70 appearances for the Ukrainian outfit, which is mightily impressive when you realise that he is just a winger.
Should Liverpool successfully complete a hijack for the 20-year-old’s services, then they should see the goals start to flood in on a more regular basis.
He would link up fantasically well with the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, which would definitely be a sight to behold at Anfield.
They need to blow their rivals out of the water in a bid to sign the Ukrainian star, otherwise Spurs will nab themselves a real up and coming talent.
Liverpool’s lack of goalscoring ability would be put to bed with this capture, and it is important that they act on their interest at the expense of others.
