Some fans on Twitter heaped praise on Liverpool-owned midfielder Ovie Ejaria for his latest display while on loan at Rangers.
The 20-year-old Reds midfielder is currently spending his season at the Gers and played for them during their 1-0 defeat to Aberdeen on Sunday.
However despite being on the losing side, several supporters, mostly Rangers fans, took to social media in order to praise Ejaria for his performance despite being part of the losing side.
One fan described the youngster as being a pleasure to watch alongside fellow Reds starlet Ryan Kent, while another tweeted that his footballing brain was on a different level.
COMMENTARY
It seems Ejaria managed to impress despite Rangers slumping to a 1-0 defeat courtesy of Aberdeen on Sunday. The 20-year-old central midfielder, according to this section of fans below, was one of the only Gers players who could hold their heads high following the club’s latest display. It’s nice to see that Ejaria is able to shine bright even when his teammates don’t makes his job easier, as it’s hard to submit a positive performance when everyone around is struggling. It’s also very good to hear, from a Reds’ perspective, that one fan believes that Ejaria has unreal potential as it does show that he still has room to turn into a player worthy of playing for Jurgen Klopp’s first-team. While the promising player seems to be making waves at Ibrox while on loan, it’s hard to imagine him breaking to the Reds’ first-team anytime soon, just because of the level of competition there is for places.
