OPINION
Liverpool really needed to win this game and there is no reason why they could not have got a good result on Wednesday night. However, Paris Saint-Germain were too good for them, starting with the midfield where Jordan Henderson was completely outplayed and outclassed. Like one fan pointed out on Twitter, big games such as these are not for him anymore, but rather Premier League matches against some of the lesser sides. Henderson has proved time and time again that he cannot cope with the occasion that a Champions League clash brings anymore, but whether Jurgen Klopp will stick with him for the final group fixture against Napoli remains to be seen. Many supporters would hope that he would see the light after Henderson’s performance, but who knows with Klopp. We all know that he needs to start playing Naby Keita and Fabinho together more often, because after all, the club spent big money in order to bring them to Anfield.
