Some Liverpool fans on social media hijacked a tweet by Sky Sports’ TV show SoccerAM in order to mock Manchester City.
Soccer AM’s official Twitter account innocently posted that they were looking for six Man City fans for an upcoming episode and this saw Reds fans cheekily hijack the tweet to mock their Premier League rivals.
We're looking for 6 @ManCity fans to be our fans of the week. If you and 5 friends fancy coming down to the show this week, email firstname.lastname@example.org Please include the names and ages of your group, plus a contact number. pic.twitter.com/JKN74RH1pH

One Reds tweeted that it was bit ambitious of the Sky show to be looking for six fans while another claimed that empty seats would be a better representation of Man City.
It’s quite amusing that Soccer AM took to Twitter to look for some Man City fans and instead got a lot of unhelpful replies. There will be several Reds fans active in the replies but there was also Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United fans getting in on the fun. While this was just a playful bit of banter at Man City’s expense, it’s doubtful their supporters enjoyed it. As seen below, some Reds fans referenced that Man City supporters can be seen as ‘plastic’ by posting pictures of water bottles while other openly mocked the empty seats that can sometimes be seen at the Etihad. Hopefully these tweets don’t come back to haunt Liverpool fans in the near future as Man City do have the ability to cause them misery this season by racking up trophies ahead of their club. The Reds have all the tools though to beat Pep Guardiola’s side to silverware this season but only time will tell if that is the case.
