Liverpool midfielder Fabinho was given a rare chance to impress against Everton after being sparingly used this season by Jurgen Klopp and he seized the opportunity to stake his claim for a first-team place. The 25-year-old had fans dubbing him their Man of their Match and one even urging the Reds manager never ever to drop him even if he gets injured as they believed the player was exactly what the club has been screaming out for years. It’s easy to see why a section of Reds supporters were rushing to heap praise on Fabinho as he was a vital cog in the side’s midfield during their 1-0 win over Toffees. The 25-year-old was regularly the first player to ball, won several tackles and dominated the midfield battle for his side. This was no easy task for the Brazilian as the Toffees’ midfield brought their A game on Sunday and that just made his display look even better.

To all @lfc supporters, if you can't see that we are a better team with Fabinho in the deep lying midfield role than we are when Henderson plays then nobody can help you. Hendo does not push the team forward like fab does. Hendo is not positive like fab is.
