Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to recall in-form star Adam Lallana for his team’s clash with struggling Fulham on Sunday.

The England international produced his finest performance in years against Burnley last time out in the Premier League, and will likely come back into the team having started on the bench against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Captain Jordan Henderson will surely make way for his compatriot, having picked up an injury at the Allianz Arena. Meanwhile, Fabinho can expect to replace James Milner after impressing off the bench in Germany.

Those will likely be the only two changes Klopp makes to the team that secured a Champions League quarter final place in mid week, with the Cottagers expected to be on the wrong end of a beating on Sunday.

Alisson produced another assured performance on Wednesday, as is his wont, and he will almost certainly line up between the sticks once again here. The same goes for left back Andrew Robertson who is one of the first names on the team sheet for Klopp.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was tremendous against Bayern and will surely keep his place as a result. Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk were also hugely impressive and will likely start at Craven Cottage.

A midfield three of Lallana, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum will probably line up on Sunday. The trio are in good form and appear to be the best choice for the task at hand.

Up front, meanwhile, it’s business as usual. Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane can all expect to start after another productive evening in Munich.
