OPINION
According to a report by Goal, Liverpool could offload Harry Wilson in the summer transfer window, and that has understandably led to a number of fans being angry on social media. Wilson, 22, has done very well while on loan at Derby County this season, scoring 14 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions for Frank Lampard’s side. However once he returns to Anfield at the end of campaign, it seems as though the Wales international could be sold, with an enquiry already made about him. You can understand why some Liverpool fans are raging over the news on Twitter because supporters always love to see their club nurture young talent up through their academy and into the first team. However is Wilson realistically good enough to put pressure on the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for their first team spot? Definitely not. Wilson is a good player, but his transfer value will be at it’s highest right now and it could be a wise financial decision to offload the attacker. It is also perhaps best for his career because he will not get enough chances to impress at Anfield

Wilson needs to stay, he deserves to be given an opportunity in the first team, if he fails we can then offload him the following session.
