Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne is interesting Premier League trio Crystal Palace, West Ham and Bournemouth this summer, according to Sky Sports

It is believed that Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is understood to be keen on re-signing Clyne, after the right-back made 15 appearances for the Howe’s side during a loan spell in the second half of the season.

Bournemouth are thought to be facing competition for Clyne from both West Ham and Crystal Palace who are also believed to be keen, with Liverpool wanting to receive around £15million for the England international.

Serie A side Napoli are also thought to be potentially interested in making a move for Clyne during the summer transfer window.

OPINION

It will be interesting to see what happens regarding the future of Clyne at Liverpool this summer, with the defender losing his place in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up to Trent Alexander-Arnold over the last year. Clyne has suffered troubles with injuries which allowed Alexander-Arnold a run of games, and the England international has performed excellently for the Reds. That means that Clyne was allowed to leave Anfield in the January transfer window to join Bournemouth for the second half of the campaign. Clyne performed well for Eddie Howe’s side and would be a very useful player to lot of sides in the Premier League, which suggests that the right-back could potentially be looking to leave Liverpool to get regular game time. That will be essential if Clyne is wanting to force his way back into contention for the England squad. Klopp might want to keep the defender to provide cover, but the German would probably be willing to him allow him to leave Anfield if he wants to go and get guaranteed first team football elsewhere.
