OPINION

James Milner has enjoyed an illustrious career in English football for many different clubs. He has played for his country 61 times and is still in peak physical condition. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the first footballer’s many will think of when asked to name one of the best physically speaking and Milner will certainly go under the radar in that aspect. At 33, Milner is still one of the best midfielders at his job in the Premier League and consistently helps his side in the biggest occasions. There is no one better than a former teammate to give an insight into another player and Mills is still full of praise for what Milner has done and still do for that matter. There isn’t many better professionals in the current game than the 33-year-old and that is highlighted by his training ground presence which shows his peak physical attributes. It is great for the youngsters at Liverpool to be around such players and despite his contract expiring at the end of the season, Milner will certainly be around for many more campaigns, no matter what league that is in.
