Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to aim a tongue-in-cheek dig at Gary Neville.
The Manchester United has been largely absent from social media in recent weeks, and Carragher has suggested that it may have something to do with his beloved Liverpool winning a sixth European title.
Replying to a tweet asking where Neville was, Carragher said: “He’s still in hiding!”
He followed his comment up with the hashtag: “6 times”.

OPINION
Carragher will be dining out on this one for months and months, and who can really blame him? After all the stick he has had to endure in recent years, with Liverpool constantly the bridesmaid but never the bride, it must have been a monumental relief for him when they managed to see off Tottenham in the Champions League final and finally lift a trophy under Jurgen Klopp. That in itself is a massive achievement, but it is no doubt made a whole lot sweeter by the knowledge that bitter rivals United are languishing away somewhere in the rearview mirror. Having Liverpool perform so well while his side toil away must be eating Neville up inside, and you can only imagine how much it would devastate him if the Reds were to lift a league title next season. If that isn’t motivation enough to do it then who knows what is.
