Liverpool-mad professional golfer Tyrrell Hatton has showcased his Reds-inspired wedge ahead of the upcoming US Open.

The Englishman revealed the club on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday, before he bids for glory at Pebble Beach starting this Thursday.

Hatton is clearly hoping to enjoy similar glory to that of Jurgen Klopp’s team in this season’s Champions League final. However, he’s hoping for more silverware from the Reds in the future.

“Liverpool inspired wedge for US Open this week!!,” he wrote. “There’s still room for more.”

This is pretty cool, you have to say. It’s always nice to see fellow sports stars supporting their teams and showing their respect for what their side have achieved, and Hatton is clearly immensely devoted to Liverpool. He is a big Reds fan and was obviously over the moon when they became champions of Europe for the sixth time earlier this month. Now, whether he can get over the hump at the US Open later this week remains to be seen. It’s likely going to be even trickier for him than it was for Klopp’s team to scale the continental heights once again this campaign. However, he’ll be hoping that a little bit of the Reds’ magic inspires him to do something special at Pebble Beach this weekend. We’ve heard so much about ‘six times’ since Liverpool lifted the trophy, but when you see it written down it does hammer home to you what a phenomenal achievement it is to have been champions of Europe that many times.
