Yorkshire giants Leeds United are preparing to make a double swoop for Liverpool wingers Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent, according to Football Insider.

The outlet claims that Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa has zeroed in on the two Reds’ stars as he looks to reinforce his wide areas ready for another promotion push next season.

The two youngsters both just enjoyed excellent campaigns out on loan at Derby County and Rangers respectively, which has resulted in more than 10 clubs providing Leeds with competition for their services.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has yet to decide whether to loan out the pair again this term or simply to sell them this summer while their stocks are high.

OPINION

Klopp certainly has a bit of a dilemma in regards to these two fine young players. Both men excelled at Pride Park and Ibrox this season, increasing interest in their services exponentially. Other teams are aware that it’s unlikely that either man will be able to make the grade for Liverpool, at least not yet, so they see a golden opportunity to take them off the Reds’ hands. However, Klopp needs to decide whether he sees enough potential to simply loan them out again, or whether he believes it’s best to move them on now because they’re never going to be able to truly cut it at Anfield. That’s where the two wingers’ paths divide. Wilson is good enough to feature for Klopp’s team in the future, and so he should be loaned out again – although probably at Premier League level rather than with Leeds in the second tier. As for Kent, he’s not quite at the same level and so he should be sold this summer to whoever offers the highest amount.
