It is hard to look back at the transfer activities of Premier League sides in recent years and find a club that has signed better players than Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has put together a side that is more than capable of competing for major silverware for many years to come after their recent Champions League success against Tottenham.

The German could be said to be reliant on his prolific front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Mo Salah, who scored 69 goals in all competitions last seasons.

Senegalese international, Mane has gone under-the-radar slightly since the arrival of Salah in 2017 but became center of attention last season after sharing the Golden Boot award and also playing an integral role in their European success.

Currently, at the African Cup of Nations with his country, Mane has guided Senegal to the semi-final stage. The FA boss of Senegal has recently tipped the 27-year-old to make a move to Real Madrid, something that is way off the mark.

Speaking to the Mirror, Saee Seck said: “He alongside Mo Salah and Firmino are phenomenal. But this is football and he won the Champions League last season and he has the chance to go to Madrid. For me, I think it’s the best club in the world, even if I am a Barcelona fan I still think Real is the best and Mane should be thinking of that offer seriously.”

Mane must not listen to Seck’s advice about his future, with the electrifying winger having the chance to become an Anfield legend should he help the club capitalise on last year’s success with more silverware.

The £100,000 per-week ace [Spotrac] must dismiss that advice and continue to kick on at Anfield after an outstanding season for the Reds. Mane attempted 1.7 dribbles per game on average with his pace and directness something that causes opposition defences major problems. [WhoScored]

As well as an average of 2.4 shots a game in the Premier League, Mane also averaged 1.3 key passes, proving he can create as well as score goals in every game he features in. [WhoScored]

Mane must take Seck’s words with a pinch of salt, and push to become an icon at Anfield, with the next stop, surely being the club’s first-ever Premier League title.
