OPINION
Friday night was a pretty mixed bag for Marko Grujic. The midfielder, who is on loan at Hertha Berlin from Liverpool, played a vital role in the 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich, for a number of reasons. Firstly, he helped turnaround a one goal deficit by scoring a wonderfully composed goal, timing his run excellently and rounding Manuel Neuer with ease. He then went on to concede the penalty that ultimately cost his side two points, but he had still done enough to catch the eye of Kop fans everywhere. The general consensus seems to be that the 23-year-old is almost ready to be a serious player for the Reds, and that this season could be his last out on loan. It’s easy to see why people think that. Against Bayern, he registered one shot on goal, one key pass, two successful dribbles, a pass completion rate of 80%, and, of course, a goal, as per Whoscored. If he can keep that kind of form up all season then he will no doubt have another stellar campaign in Germany, and there is no reason to believe that Jurgen Klopp won’t give him his chance. On the basis of this performance, you’d have to say that he would have earned it.

Don't know about you mate but I'm really keen on Grujic. Really wish we'd seen more of him.

I really think Marko Grujic ends up being a serious contributor for LFC at some point. The man tears up the Bundisliga, adds goals from the midfield, and is physically imposing
