Liverpool face a difficult test when they host Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday and they need to be aware of who the Gunners’ danger men are.

Jamie Redknapp fired a warning in Jurgen Klopp’s direction regarding Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos as he raved about how impressive the 23-year-old looked during his full Premier League debut against Burnley on Saturday.

The former Reds midfielder even claimed that Jurgen Klopp will watch Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Burnley in order and end up noting down that his side have to find a way to stop Ceballos.

“What a performance from Dani Ceballos on his full Premier League debut,” wrote Redknapp for the Daily Mail.

“Arsenal must already be tempted to ask Real Madrid how much it would cost to sign their loanee on a permanent deal.

“Jurgen Klopp will watch back Arsenal’s win over Burnley and note they need to stop Ceballos at Anfield next week. That will be a great test of the 23-year-old’s ability.”

Given that Redknapp has effectively warned Klopp ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Arsenal that Ceballos deserves his attention, hopefully, the Reds boss heeds the pundit’s warning as the 23-year-old may prove key to deciding which way the game goes on Saturday.

The 23-year-old pulled the strings for Arsenal against Burnley after all.

Ceballos touched the ball a staggering 93 times during the Gunners’ latest win, meaning he had more touches than anybody else in Saturday’s game, and he was the creator of both Arsenal’s goals. (Source: WhoScored)

The playmaker also managed three key passes during the match, maintained a pass completion rate of 90%, and even managed to find enough space to have three efforts at goal.

Unsurprinsley, Ceballos averaged a rating of 8.22 for his display, and his performance suggested that if the Reds can contain him, then it will be like cutting off the Gunners’ supply line, meaning they won’t be as creative.

After all, when Ceballos only made a cameo appearance against Arsenal’s clash with Newcastle, the Gunners only managed eight shots at goal, compared to the 15 they registered against Burnley.

So with that in mind, it’s clear that Ceballos may prove key and you hope Klopp puts together a plan to stop him as that will boost Liverpool’s chances of getting a victory on Saturday.
