Former Wales international Robbie Savage has delivered his prediction for Liverpool’s visit to top four rivals Chelsea on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s team make the trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Frank Lampard’s youthful outfit, with the Reds looking to continue their 100% start to the Premier League season.

Savage is certainly expecting goals in what he believes will be an entertaining affair, plumping for a 3-2 victory for Liverpool, as per the Daily Mirror.

OPINION

You can see why Savage is anticipating goals in west London on Sunday. Chelsea have the Premier League’s joint-top scorer in Tammy Abraham, while the Reds have goals all over the park. We know how good Liverpool’s attack is, and Klopp’s team will be determined to get back on track after coming up short away at Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Lampard’s men were also beaten in mid-week, though, and so they will be equally motivated to send a message to the rest of the top flight that they are major players this time out. Liverpool will certainly be the favourites, and rightly so. They are a few years ahead of Chelsea in terms of their development as a team, with the Blues very much at the onset of a reinvigorating youth movement. Still, Klopp’s defence hasn’t looked quite as solid this campaign as it did last time out, and Abraham doesn’t need much of an invitation to put the ball in the back of the net. There will almost certainly be goals, and 3-2 doesn’t seem like a bad shout, to be honest.
