Jurgen Klopp is set to hand Liverpool forward Divock Origi more minutes in his side in the coming weeks, according to Football Insider.

The reputable football outlet claim on their website that the rarely-seen Belgian striker is set to lead the line more often for the Reds as the games start to come thick and fast in all competitions this season.

Football Insider report that the £45,000-a-week forward [Source: Spotrac] is most likely to start in the Champions League clash with Club Brugge in midweek with Mohamed Salah expected to be preferred against Manchester United if he is fully fit on Sunday.

OPINION

It is natural for a side to rotate as the season starts to grow older, and Jurgen Klopp will surely be lining up changes in games to keep his top players fully fit. The potential injury to Salah recently was the first scare for the Reds this season, who could struggle without their prolific front-three together. Origi has proved in the past when being utilised off the bench or from the start that he can make a massive impact when spearheading the attack. The 24-year-old has only started twice in the Premier League this season and will be eager to make an impression on his side – something that could work to his advantage. The Belgian international will need to replicate the form he has shown against the likes of Barcelona and Tottenham in the Champions League to make a lasting impression when given the opportunity and something that could lead to more chances in the future for the Reds.
