OPINION
Roberto Firmino scored a superb goal for Brazil in their 1-1 draw against Senegal in Singapore on Thursday and understandably, a lot of Liverpool fans on Twitter have been waxing lyrical about the Anfield striker. Firmino combined well with Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus before delicately lifting the ball over the Senegalese goalkeeper to score. Firmino may not be the best goalscoring striker around as he scored fewer times than Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah for the Reds last season, but he is still one of the best. The Brazilian is so important for Liverpool and to see him hit the back of the net on international duty is a real boost, especially for him. Hopefully he can return to Anfield after this international break and continue his goalscoring form against Manchester United in what promises to be a massive game at Old Trafford. Based on how United are playing, it could be a historic win for Liverpool.
