Pepe Reina has delivered a four-word Twitter message to Liverpool when reacting to a throwback video.

Friday marks the 10-year anniversary of the Spaniard’s famous celebration at Anfield after David Ngog scored against Manchester United when he ran the entire length of the field to congratulate the Frenchman.

Reina shared his message after Liverpool posted the video on their official Twitter account, simply saying “What a fantastic day.”

Liverpool took all three points in that game, winning 2-0 against their fierce rivals with goals from Ngog and Fernando Torres putting an end to a four-game winless run at the time.

OPINION

Reina will always be at the top when Liverpool fans discuss their best ever goalkeepers, and the Spaniard has more than cemented his icon status at Anfield. Reina is the only ever stopper in the Premier League to keep more than 20 clean sheets in a season more than once [Sky Sports] and Alisson will be dreaming about doing that during his time at the club after he got off to the perfect start last season. Reina epitomised what it meant to be a Liverpool player, and his celebration against Manchester United only proved how much it meant to him to put on the Reds’ shirt – something the Liverpool fans will go wild for every single time. Reina can somewhat be compared to Jurgen Klopp with the way both show their affection and passion for the club, and they have both highlighted how well that goes down at Anfield, given how they are massively admired by the club’s fanbase.
