Harry Redknapp has backed Liverpool to take all three points when they visit Crystal Palace this weekend.

The Reds are currently unbeaten in the Premier League, and sit eight points clear at the top of the table.

And Redknapp believes they will keep that run going when they play the Eagles on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to Bet Victor, he said: “Liverpool have put themselves firmly in the driving seat to secure the title after a fabulous 3-1 victory over last season’s champions Manchester City at Anfield during their last outing.

“A nine-point cushion looks extremely useful and with eleven wins from twelve, it will need a big collapse from the Reds, despite two thirds of their campaign remaining.

“Their title credentials will be tested on the road in London this Saturday when they visit Crystal Palace despite the Eagles only accumulating one point from a possible last twelve. They have endured a tough fixture list which gets no easier here but a welcome break may well have the hosts recharged.

“Like any team on a long unbeaten run, the pressure can mount to sustain it, but Liverpool can utilise their deep squad to maintain the gap at the summit. They may have to be patient but have finished well, nicking late winners in many games recently and three more points look assured in the capital.”

OPINION

It’s hard to see Redknapp getting this one wrong, in truth. The Reds are looking imperious, and the longer that this winning streak goes on, the more confident they look. The fact that their last match was that stunning 3-1 win over Manchester City certainly won’t hurt their belief either, and their ability to register such a commanding result despite having less possession and fewer shots on goal, as per Sky Sports, shows that this is a side who know how to win by any means. Mo Salah and Andy Robertson may be out of action for the trip, as per Sky Sports, which obviously going to be a blow, but all things considered, it would be a major upset if they didn’t pick up all three points here. Moreover, with City playing a resurgent Chelsea side, there could be a real opportunity to nail down their position at the front of the title race too.
