Harry Wilson is facing a make or break season in a lot of ways. The Liverpool youngster is obviously out on loan at Bournemouth to gain more Premier League experience, and you can’t help feeling that the more he impresses on the south coast, the greater his chances of making it at Anfield are. You could, of course, also make an argument for the importance of international football too. Play well on the biggest stage of all, and it’s likely that your boss is going to take notice of you. And Wilson won’t have done his credentials any harm with a star turn for Wales against Azerbaijan on Saturday. A goal and an assist in a 2-0 win, Wilson was the top dog for his country, and it was hard not to be impressed by him. He hasn’t exactly been slouching in the Premier League either. With four goals already this season, he has shown that he is more than capable of cutting it in the top flight. A Whoscored rating of 6.73 could be better, but all things considered, you’d have to say that he is on a decent path. And that’s the view of many Liverpool fans too, who took to social media to hail the starlet after another great display this weekend.
