PSG are keeping tabs on Liverpool playmaker Adam Lallana, according to  the Mirror.

The 34 cap England ace is out of contract this summer, and it is understood that the French giants are viewing him as a potential replacement for the departing Edinson Cavani, who is moving to LA Galaxy.

Lallana will be free to negotiate a deal with PSG in the coming months as his current deal winds down, and is believed to be surplus to requirements.

OPINION

Losing Lallana might not be the worst thing in the world, truth be told. The midfielder has always been a favourite of Jurgen Klopp’s, granted, and were it not for an unfortunate run of injuries, he could well be playing a much more prominent role for the Reds right about now, but when things are said and done, he has become something of a fringe player, and at 31, he is approaching something akin to twilight of his career. In an ideal world, Liverpool would fetch a decent fee for the England international, but given his contract situation, it could well be that they settle for letting him ride off into the sunset and not having to pay his salary anymore. His Whoscored rating of 6.37 has been decidedly average this season, and even though he is a relatively popular figure on Merseyside, sometimes you have to be pragmatic.
