OPINION
It would seem as though these Liverpool fans cannot wait to see the back of Adam Lallana after it was reported that the midfielder is attracting attention from China and the USA. According to the Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp wants to offer the 31-year-old a new contract with his current terms expiring in the summer. However if clubs from China and MLS step up their interest in the former Southampton player, there is a chance that he could leave Anfield in January. A good number of Liverpool fans on Twitter appear to be hoping that is what happens because Lallana is not exactly a key player on Merseyside. Klopp needs to be trusted though. Why would Liverpool fans not trust the opinion of the manager who led them to Champions League glory and their highest-ever Premier League points total? Klopp wants to keep together the core of his squad and if he sees Lallana as being key to that then he should keep him on board. Klopp knows best. These Liverpool fans should know that by now.
