Jan Aage Fjortoft has revealed that Liverpool are favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The ViaSport pundit has claimed that the England international is eager to leave the German club, and could do so as early as the January transfer window.
Fjortoft shared on his personal Twitter account on Monday morning that a very good source from Germany had revealed that Jurgen Klopp and the Reds are in the lead for his signature.

The Athletic have recently reported that the 19-year-old has been left feeling humiliated and scapegoated by Dortmund this season despite him having an impressive start to the campaign.

Given that Liverpool are favourites for Sancho’s signature alongside his reported urge to leave the club, the Reds should go all out to secure the 19-year-old’s signature, whether in January or the summer. Sancho has had a great start to the season in the Bundesliga, and it seems strange that he is eager to leave Dortmund, but that all but proves that something isn’t right in Germany for the youngster. Sancho has featured 11 times and he has been involved in 11 goals, great numbers for the youngster who has been terrifying defences ever since arriving in the Bundesliga. The youngster has evolved massively in the past couple of years, with his international recognition helping his progression massively. Sancho has completed 2.6 dribbles per game according to WhoScored, which is more than any Liverpool player, and proof that he would add a new dimension to Klopp’s side in the final third. Liverpool should go all out to bring Sancho back to the Premier League, and everything looks to be in their favour for that to happen.
