A number of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a question posed by @AnfieldEdition on Twitter asking if followers would be content just to win the Premier League this season, with many emphatically stating that the league title would render 2019/20 a success irrespective of everything else.
Bit of a self entitled question considering how much we’ve wanted it, but will you be happy with just a Premier League title this season?
Or will you be unsatisfied because you feel this team is so good they should win more?

A run of three defeats in four games has seen the Reds exit the FA Cup against Chelsea last night, lose 1-0 away to Atletico Madrid to put the defence of their Champions League crown in jeopardy and relinquish their unbeaten status in the Premier League following a 3-0 thrashing by Watford.
Although there is the distinct possibility of being knocked out of two competitions in just over a week if Jurgen Klopp’s side are unable to overcome Atletico next Wednesday, Liverpool are still firmly on course to lift the Premier League, in which they currently have a 22-point lead over Manchester City and need only four more wins from 10 games to be crowned champions for the first time in 30 years.
Given the three-decade wait for a league title, these Reds fans on Twitter would happily take disappointments in every other competition just to have the Premier League trophy at Anfield come the end of the season:
I expected more then realized you cannot expect a team to go unbeaten win a prem win a fa cup win a champions leauge and world club cup without getting tired weve been crying for a prem for 30 years everyone should just be happy

Prem title is everything for me. Absolutely everything.

The league is all that matters to me personally!!! We’ve been spoilt an expect to win every game, that’s how far we’ve come. The League is a DREAM an that DREAM is still in sight!!!!

Clearly satisfied we haven’t won one in 30 years and it’s the biggest prize we could win due to us never winning one in my lifetime. Anything after is a bonus

Only my opinion but winning the league is the main priority as I was bought up on winning it, it’s the bread & butter of football in any country. It’s been far too long for our great club not to be crowned league champions Anything else is a massive bonus. #LFC #YNWA

An entire generation has not seen Liverpool win the league. Why in the world will anyone not be satisfied.
This team has been so incredible that the expectations have gone through the roof. Dont forget that not so long ago we won our first trophy after many years. #YNWA

Imagine being unsatisfied with *just* winning the trophy we’ve been begging for for the last 30 years and also winning the club World Cup for the first time in our history. That’s just madness.

Liverpool fans, would you be content just to win the Premier League this season or would a ‘mere’ league title feel disappointing given the standards the team had set in the first six months of the campaign? Join in the discussion by commenting below!
