A number of Liverpool fans have reacted to a transfer report linking one of the Reds’ key players with a move to La Liga.
Football Insider reported that Real Madrid are eyeing up a summer swoop for Sadio Mane, with Zinedine Zidane believed to be a huge admirer of the 27-year-old, who is one of the top transfer targets at the Bernabeu. The story was shared on Twitter by @AnfieldEdition.

Mane’s name has been linked with a possible move to Spain for some time. Two years ago, France Football claimed that Real Madrid were close to sealing a deal for the winger. Last summer, Senegalese FA chief Saee Seck tried to steer him towards the Spanish capital during an interview with Egyptian media outlet Mirror Sports (via The Mirror).
The 27-year-old has again come to the fore for Liverpool this season, his 18-goal haul in all competitions putting him just behind Mohamed Salah in the Reds’ scoring charts, and he has hit 77 goals in his 161 appearances for the club since joining in 2016.
