Plenty of Liverpool fans have expressed their opposition to the possibility of signing of Ryan Fraser on a free transfer from Bournemouth, following a report in The Mirror that the Reds have held “advanced talks” about a potential deal.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal lead the chase for the Scottish winger, whose contract at the Vitality Stadium expires at the end of June. Details of the Reds’ reported interest in the player were shared by @AnfieldEdition on Twitter.

During the January transfer window, the 26-year-old had been linked with a possible move to Anfield by talkSPORT. However, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider at the weekend that Harry Wilson, on loan at Bournemouth from Liverpool, would be a better fit for the Reds.

Fraser excelled in the Premier League last season with 14 assists, with only Eden Hazard at Chelsea beating that tally, but has been unable to replicate that form in the current campaign, with only one goal and four assists in 28 league games as the Cherries lie in the relegation zone.

These Liverpool fans on Twitter are not keen on the possibility of the 26-year-old pitching up at Anfield on a free transfer:

Do you think Fraser would be a good coup for Liverpool on a free transfer or is he simply not good enough for the Reds? Comment below with your views!
