Anton Ferdinand


Both brothers came through the West Ham youth academy but it was Rio was caught the eye with a string of impressive performances before moving for a record breaking £18m to Leeds United and then transferring to Manchester United for £30 million two years later. He has gone on to be England captain and is now regarded as one of the world’s best centre backs. Anton Ferdinand left West Ham to join Sunderland for £8m and recently moved again this time back to London with QPR. A former regular in the U21, the QPR centre back is still waiting for his first England senior team call up.
