Richard Wright

Wrights goalkeeping displays for Ipswich in the early 2000’s brought him to the attention of Arsene Wenger who was in the hunt for an English goalkeeper. Touted as the long-term successor to David Seaman his career went on a steady decline after his solitary season at Highbury, which was littered with mistakes and under-par performances.
