BrazilLIVERPOOL and Premiership new boys Crystal Palace will this weekend find out which team Chelsea’s Lucas Piazon wishes to join on a loan deal, according to The Express.

The forward was told by new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho that he required another year at another club to continue his development, after spending 6 months at Spanish side Malaga last season, in order to contest for a place in the Chelsea team.

After Piazon’s stint with Malaga, both the club and player have decided that it would be more beneficial if he went to a Premiership club, in order to prepare him for the physical nature that the league is renowned for.

Brendan Rodgers and Palace boss Ian Holloway have already made their interest in Piazon apparent, and the Brazilian forward himself said:

“Last season I stayed half the season at Chelsea and half at Malaga. It was good for me to play in La Liga and the Champions League.

“In this next season I will try to stay in the Premier League – it’s important for me to stay in England and get used to the league where Chelsea play. English football is different to Spanish and I need to get used to the physical side.

“So it is important to find the right club before the start of the season. When I went to Malaga it was in the middle of the season. The manager knew all the players but he didn’t know me well. It was a bit difficult. I would prefer to have time to get to know the team.

“But I have no idea where I will go. I told everyone I would concentrate on this part of pre-season and I will talk about it with my dad when I get back to England at the weekend.”

Hey all, I'm 17 years old and I've only been writing sports articles for a couple of months. I'm an aspiring journalist living in the Anfield area (about 5 minutes from the stadium, seriously, I can hear the roar of the Kop from my house!) I've been a lifelong supporter along with my entire family (except one Uncle, but we don't need to talk about that) and I've followed the Reds through the good and the bad times - and there's been a lot of both. I recently got accepted into college and shall be taking a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Journalism, with this hopefully being the first step towards a full time career in journalism.

Wtf is going on, signing nobody players on the cheap like Aspas and Alberto for half nothing, then adding a has been like Toure on a free, signing Mignolet and then shipping out Reina for financial reasons, so far, after sales we have invested nothing in this transfer window and it will stay that way. That’s demoralising enough, except it ain’t finished yet. We can now add that we are about to become Arsenal’s bittches, who are themselves just feeder club for the Manc teams to spunk on. And just to be sure injury and insult are in face slapping agreement we have sank so low now that we are competing with Palace for the privilege to develop Chelsea’s brats.

Pls can someone tell Mr rogers what a mistake it will be for him to pay that much for soldado at his age? Come on we can do better than that. Guys like Luc Castaignos, Morata. Or even Bojan. Not soldado please.

As expected, more loan deals for LFC. I have said it before and now I repeat here, LFC is fast becoming QPR standard !!! Fans must collectively do something now to save our club.

  • Brigadier says:

Why the hell are we even considering doing deals with Chelsea after they booed the Hillsborough minute’s silence the other year? Bodgers was also after Bertrand recently, the man is an absolute clown and embarassment to the club. The guy has zero pride in LFC.

Red and brigader said it all .
