Liverpool striker, and one half the the club’s deadly ‘SAS’ partnership, Luis Suarez believes he and strike partner, Daniel Sturridge, can help the club challenge for the top four this season, according to The Daily Post.
Since Sturridge arrived at Anfield from Chelsea in January, him and Suarez have scored a combined 17 goals, and their link-up play has seen the duo emerge as one of the most feared partnerships in the Premiership.
Suarez almost left the club this summer, the Uruguayan the subject of two failed bids from Arsenal and had also piqued late interest from Real Madrid.
However, the 26 year old is still at Anfield and, since returning from his 10-match-ban, has hit the ground running and is planning to bring Brendan Rodgers’ side to the Champions League.
Suarez said: “We are trying for progression, he is 24 and I am 26, so we are trying our best to progress for the future of the club.
“We know in the last few seasons, Liverpool have been not been in the Champions League and we know we can help the team challenge for the top four.
“We will try our best but Liverpool is not only Suarez and Sturridge – it’s the whole team.”

So you see Dennis we all think you attitude is wrong! Maybe it’s time for you to rethink!i. I think you have other issues that are brining you down, you should address those issues first, try and lift yourself above doom and gloom, go out and help someone, do some gardening for an elderly neighbour discover what it is like to be nice! You will feel good about yourself, then you will feel good about the world around you! Find someone to love, then you will see the light and be proud of lfc, I’m sending you lots of positive waves and encouragement YNWA
No rethink . If you and a few others are fooled by a good start which has only been possible because of a very very easy fixture list then more fool you
Wake up man . There won’t be any trophies or CL with a rubbish manager like Rodgers. Wait and see
My only hope is he is sacked and we can push on next season with a proper coach- someone befitting a huge club like ours not a champions level one
You are deludes if you think Rodgers has built a good side . I wish it were so but its not . Roll on next summer
Dennis. At least admit some progress has been made?
I understand you won’t be happy until he’s been sacked, would you admit your error if he secures top four or will only a trophy do?
RB won two trophies of note, one wasn’t his team and both won via influential performances from King Gerard.
Even you can see some progress has occurred, unless you think we have walked backwards into third?
A prayer for DENNIS dear lord please help our brother Dennis he is lost in the wilderness please show him the way home back to his family at anfield, we love him and feel for him rid him of those negative thoughts Dennis please come home we miss and love you amen YNWA.
Fuc k off u half-wit with ur god sh ite. This is a football forum
I echo Dans sentiments . Religion is for fools. It’s no coincidence that someone who is easily fooled by a good start in PL and someone who believes the BS Rodgers says – is also fooled by religion
You must be seriously dumb to believe all that rubbish. Deluded is most definitely the applicable word
Dennis you should try using a thesaurus, there are other words you can timidly insult people with.
Your fav delude is tiresome now, your smarter than this!
Dennis, I’m sorry if I have offended you in some way, I think we should just agree to disagree, let’s just see how things pan out! I was called worse in istanbul when I said at half time we can still do it! We all sang our hearts out, Rodgers has a lot to learn I agree but he has created a fantastic team spirit, good on him! Got to go now the nurse is here.
suarez will probably ask for a transfer in january so take no notice of him
We are sleeping wit one eye open,i dn’t trust him! He threw that out the window a long time ago.we’l wait n’ see.YNWA
Well said mate!(singing: We’ll yank the mancs out the window, mancs out the window, mancs out the window. i know,i know,i know) lfc till i’m gone! YNWA
