Liverpool are close to signing Rafael Camacho from Manchester City, reports ESPN FC. The club have tracked the 15 year old for a long time and they now have their chance to snap up the player after he failed to agree a professional contract with the Manchester club.

Camacho is a midfielder and moved from Sporting Lisbon in his native Portugal during the summer of 2014. He has played for Portugal Under 16s and was tipped as one of the brightest star at that level.

If he makes the move from City to Anfield, it would be Jurgen Klopp’s fourth signing of the summer. He signed Marco Grujic from Red Star Belgrade in January, signed Schalke defender Joel Matip on a Bosman free transfer in February and has also signed another Manchester City academy player, right back Diego Lattie at the end of last month. The German manager has said he wants to bring in better players or those of a similar level to the current squad this summer.
