Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will hand in a transfer request if he isn’t offered a new contract by the Italian club, according to calciomercato.com.

The Croatian is currently earning €1.2million a year with the Serie A side but wants a deal closer to what his midfield team mates are earning, the Italian website is reporting.

Both Arsenal and Juventus are believed to be in contact with the 23 year old, who joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb on a one and half year loan deal back in January 2015 before making the move officially permanent this summer.

Liverpool have also been heavily linked with Brozovic in the Italian press during the past few weeks with La Gazzetta Dello Sport reporting that both the Reds and the Gunners had renewed talks with Brozovic regarding a €30million move away from the Giuseppe Meazza. Much will depend on whether Inter decide to offer the midfielder an improved deal to stay at the club.
