12th Jan – Liverpool 5 – 1 Leicester City (FA Youth Cup) – Playing alongside fit again Lauri Dalla Valle, Ngoo scored as the Reds ran riot as they blasted their way through to the next round. The man of the match was no doubt Dalla Valle after he scored a hat-trick but Ngoo also played his part. During the first attack of the game, Ngoo received the ball from Thomas Ince on the left flank and put in superb cross for Dalla Valle to finish. Ngoo had a few opportunities to score during the match, shooting wide after a good piece of play from Dalla Valle as well as having a shot saved by Leicester keeper Ambrusics just before half time after being one on one. Ngoo was again thwarted by Ambrusics in the second half but he eventually scored in the final five minutes to seal a 5-1 win.
