Birmingham in for Babel again?

|

Skysports.com is reporting that Birmingham City will once again attempt to buy Ryan Babel from Liverpool. The Blues attempted to buy the 23 year old forward back in January but after clear the air talks with Rafa Benitez, the Dutch international stayed at the club. Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish is still however keen to bring the player to St Andrews and with the player’s uncertain future at the club, he believes he can tempt Liverpool to sell. McLeish has had bids for Wigan’s Charles N’Zogbia rejected and has therefore turned his sights back on Babel, believing he can persuade the Reds to sell so as to raise funds for new signings any new manager would require to reshape the squad.
