Olympiakos interested in Reds Winger

|

Skysports.com believes that Greek club Olympiakos are interested in signing Liverpool winger Albert Riera. The Spaniard fell out of favour with former manager Rafa Benitez, but his inclusion in the pre-season training squad to Switzerland led many to believe that Roy Hodgson was to give the player another chance. According to Sky, Olympiakos have however emerged as potential suitors and they believe that the Greek club’s vice president Sokrates Kominakis is in England to discuss a deal with Liverpool. Olympiakos are looking for a deal worth €4million (£3.4m), but Liverpool are more likely to demand closer to €5million (£4.2m).
