Agent: “There are requests, not just of Liverpool”

|

Juventus striker David Trezeguet’s agent Antonio Caliendo has told calciomercato.it that Liverpool are interested in bringing the former France international to England:

“An interest of Liverpool? There are requests, not just of Liverpool. In Spain there is the interest of Real Zaragoza and Hercules. We are considering [offers], today is a day of reflection, we will know more tomorrow.”

Meanwhile PSV Eindhoven have ruled out any move to Liverpool for their striker Ola Toivonen. The club’s sporting director Marcel Brands said to fotbollskanalen.se after reports that Kenny Dalglish had watched the striker in PSV’s 3-1 win over AZ Alkmaar:

“I also read about that (Dalglish’s trip) in the newspaper, but I didn’t see him at the stadium and it is not important. We don’t want to lose Ola during this transfer window. They called us last Thursday, in the morning, and asked how much we wanted for Ola Toivanen, but our answer was clear: we will not sell him at this point. We have not heard from them since. To have people from other clubs in the stands is quite normal. PSV are a big club and we get visits like that every week.”
