“He wants to come, he’d love to”

|

Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano’s representative Horacio Zandonadi has told Ona FM that a deal between Liverpool and Barcelona for the Argentinean captain could be tied up relatively quickly after the Reds apparently lowered their demands for the player:

“He wants to come, he’d love to, but the decision is in the hands of Barcelona. But economically it is a very easy deal to finalize.”

Zandonadi was also quoted as saying that Liverpool were asking for an “affordable amount” and this was due to Rafa Benitez leaving Liverpool, the financial situation at the club and because Inter Milan had withdrawn from the bidding. He also suggested that Liverpool would be interested in bringing Alexander Hleb back to the Premier League and this could lower Masch’s price further.

its a no brainer that a players plus cash deal is best for us
with the debt increasing at a rate of £1.27 per second, you dont have to be a genius to realise that the majority of the funds recieved for masch, will not be available for roy to use to strengthen the team….
    LIARS OUT NOW…

@KING I totally agree with you. Bojan, is a young, talented, agile player. At 20, he has lots of time to learn from Torres. And plus the combination of Torres and Bojan ? I very superb strike force I have to admit.

Roy certainly does not need Hleb even if Aquilani is sold i would be happy a straight swap for Krkic i think he is that good.

What would Liverpool do with Krkic what they can not do with Pacheco already?

Only thing Krkic has and Pacheco didn’t have is some quality playing time for the team that reached their top form and were winning regulary.
Under Benitez Liverpool couldn’t afford to give young players their place in the team, let’s hope it will be diffrent with Hodgson.

I would really want to see player like Gourcouff in Liverpool’s first team, he can play in more than one position and plays perfect passes.
Could he be bought with money from Mascherano’s sale?
