Huang deal could be “sewn up in days”

|

A source close to the Chinese consortium headed by Kenny Huang has told BBC Sport that a deal to buy the club could be finalised within days if the Liverpool board approve:

“A deal has to be done before the transfer window closes [on 31 August]. Huang has made a firm proposal. The club’s board has to sanction the sale and it could be sewn up in days. Kenny is the only serious bidder interested in the club and he’s optimistic.”

According to the BBC, Huang has offered to clear the debt that is currently over the club and give new manager Roy Hodgson money to spend in the transfer market.  Click here to read more information on Kenny Huang.

This is a clever move by Huang, making a bid to buy the £237 million debt directly from RBS. This would effectively give him control of Liverpool football club, and the best part it doesn’t matter whether H & G stay or go. That is why Gillett is running around like a nutter trying to put this off.

They will be marginalised regardless, because when Huang invests money for the stadium or players it will automatically dilute H & G shares because they will not have the money to take up their options, in other words decreasing their share of the club all the time. They will not be able to stop Huang because he will have more than 60% of LFC shares, and he can do whatever he likes being majority shareholder.

They will ultimately have to leave with zero profit which is what we all want see. This will force them to realise they are in an untenable position. H & G will then sell because they have to.

    Let’s hope.

Hope these scumbags leaves the club without a single penny from our dear club, they have tarnish the club so much. Witty got beaten by witty… H&G get lost with empty hands in your pockets, and yes may you have very awful and pityful future ahead.

To the comment by Dj….Top quality! Most of the time on these kind of forums you just get rude, unintelligent comments without any true contribution to the point at hand. Your comment was almost word for word what I was about to write! I just hope whoever is involved in the takeover has a certain level of respect( not love….this is still just a business to them) for the job that the americans have refused to ever show.
