Madrid pair to be offered to Man U and Liverpool?

|

Spanish newspaper Marca is reporting that Real Madrid pair Lassana Diarra and Mahamadou Diarra are to be offered to suitors in England, including Manchester United and Liverpool. The arrival of Mesut Ozil from Werder Bremen in recent days has prompted Real to look to reduce their squad size. General Manager Jorge Valdano said yesterday:

“We have 26 players right now, so we need to lighten the squad and it will happen in the coming days. This position does not affect the Spanish players currently on our books.”

Along with the two Diarras, Real are also said to be looking to offload Dutch international Rafael van der Vaart.

We can take Mahammadou only if we get shot of Mascha! Other than that we need a player to replace the Aqua man now that he seems bound to Juve! What ever happend to us looking at Turan?
