Tuttosport in Italy is reporting that two Liverpool players could be used in a deal that sees Juventus striker David Trezeguet move to Anfield. According to the paper, Juve are coveting both Liverpool defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos and left back Emiliano Insua. Insua was on the verge of leaving Liverpool for Fiorentina earlier this month but a move fell through due to the player’s wage demands. The Italian club are also interested in former Greek international Kyrgiakos who would provide cover for the “Old Lady” at the back. Veteran French international Trezeguet, who is 32, will be allowed to leave Juve this summer if the right offer comes in and Liverpool are said to be interested to reinforce their numbers up front.

definetely not worth two…maybe worth insua..
p.s…i’d much prefer trezeguet over some dutch league second class player..
i’d let soto go for him plus maybe a couple mil but that is all. We need insua in case we cant get any further lb back up.
Keep the greek defender
i would prefer ola toivonen over him… any day of the week… trezeguet is so old and he is from series A…. how many deals do liverpool need to realize that player from series A cant play in EPL….. case and point….Dossena, Aquilini, Andrea Shevchenko…….
Aayush you muppet. “second class dutch league” yeah yeah where the likes of Nistelrooy, van der vaart, kuyt, van persie, hunterlar, cruyf, robben, van basten etc have come from.
Trezeguet was much in demand 5 years ago but he is now 32 and not even a first choice at Juventus any more. If Liverpool are trying to build for the future what are we doing signing an ageing striker who would then have to get used to the faster pace of the EPL? That doesn’t make any sense at all to me.
Yes, use Soto and Insua as bargaining tools but only for the right player, not for someone nobody else wants!
Lets leave Trez alone! He aint worth anything unless its on a free like Owen! Get Ola, Turan, Koncheyski (or Sacadio) and M Diarra!
I would bsay Soto and insua with Trezeguet and 3 mill pound coming our way.
I do not see any reason why we couldn’t get Trez and Toivonen swap him with Babel.
Trezeguet is too old now. Get ola he’s quick, young and good goal scorer. Roy plz sell mash fast, and buy defour or van der vart.
@red barron, roy ISN’T building for the future, he’s trying to sort the short-term, he will build for the future when dumb & dumber clear off and new owners give him some decent dough!
i would take trez for the right price, fresh challenge and all that, i could laugh at all you guys screamin’ for toivonin, i wonder just how many of you have actually seen him play, any link and you all act like you’ve been following them for years, muppets!
trezeguet is crap.
Would have Toivonen than him any day.Trezeguet is old, slow and in his laties of his carrer.Toivonen is fresh and talented, with pace and a lot to learn.Sell Mascherano to Barca and get at least 17-20million + Hleb.with that money buy Toivonen and Salcido.
Line up:
Reina
Johnson Carragher Agger Salcido
Maxi Gerrard Lucas Hleb
Cole
Torres
Subs:Jones,Skrtel,Aurelio,Poulsen,Babel,Toivonen,Pacheco,Jovanovic.Toivonen an understudy from Torres in Liverpool and an understudy from Ibrahimovic at Sweden,…!!wil make him a top class player!!
Once again, not impressed…
………..
………..
LETS PLAY 4-3-3 Attacking Game…..
………………Reina……………….
Johnson…Carragher…Skrtel/Agger…Aurelio

Kill Every Team That We’re Meet.!
Slag was wondering what’s a middle class player. He’s not trying to sign Graham le Seux is he 😮
Sorry Akash
I love these “Get Turan” “Get Defour” “Get Van der Vaart”
We have no money. We can’t afford the players, we can’t afford the wages. We can’t compete with Spurs on the player sourcing, let alone City.
Until we’re taken over, it really is a case of shopping in the bargain bins to address the current needs of shoring up a small squad lacking quality and experience.
Also, for those bemoaning Roy, saying he isn’t a top class manager, do your homework, take a look at his pedegree and then, review what he did with Inter, took them from the depths of despair (i.e us now) and rebuilt them to a top team in 2 seasons.
Trezeguet is not that good…he never was…ain’t worth it…
