Liverpool reserve coach John McMahon has talked about how Peter Beardsley was really impressed by the performance of young Spaniard Suso against Newcastle last week:
“Suso took his goal really well and for his progression and development it was a great game for him because in the first half he did really well. Peter Beardsley was really impressed with him and he was asking me all about him. They closed down the space for him to play in the second half and Suso was subdued. He will learn from that and it was a fantastic game for him to play in.”
The 16 year old has also really impressed the Liverpool coaching staff since his arrival from Cadiz .
this beds well for the future, I hope we introduce quickly to first team football, be a a couple of appearances here and there. The same with Amoo, Silva and maybe Sterling towards the end of the season.
