Rumour Mill: Reds linked with German winger

|

Givemefootball have linked Werder Bremen winger Marko Marin with a move to Liverpool. Dubbed the “German Messi,” the left winger, who scored against Tottenham Hotspur in the 2-2 draw on Tuesday, is also interesting Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, according to the website. The 21 year old was purchased by Werder for €8.5million last summer and would cost a great deal to prise him away from Germany. He has already had 11 caps for Germany and team-mate Mikael Silvestre believes Marin is a very talented player:

“He makes sparks fly. He’s a player that is producing a lot for us at the moment. He launches counter-attacks, he’s unpredictable, and that makes him difficult to stop. He’s still got some progress to make, and he’ll become more mature, but I’m happy to be able to play alongside him.”

The former Borussia Moenchengladbach player has certainly started impressively in early season.
