Ex Reds Chief involved with NESV bid?

|

According to the Daily Mail, former Liverpool Chief Executive Rick Parry has been involved in John W Henry’s New England Sports Venture’s bid for Liverpool Football Club. The paper believes that Parry has been used in an unpaid advisory role by the consortium to consult on issues surrounding the club. Apparently Parry has been giving advice on Liverpool’s plans for a new stadium at Stanley Park and about his past dealings with Liverpool City Council. The Mail has also revealed that the £500,000 court costs owed by Tom Hicks and George Gillett is the exact same bonus that Chairman Martin Broughton will get for selling the club.
