“They are playing with the world on their shoulders”

|

Liverpool Chairman Martin Broughton believes the players have been adversely affected by the ownership situation. Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports yesterday, he said:

“There’s been a huge amount of negativity around Liverpool, and you can see in one or two players who look like they are playing with the world on their shoulders. There will be money available for investment in the squad and now everyone has to get behind it and all commit together.”

Broughton hopes the dispute over the sale will be decided by the end of next week.

play a flat 442 with the widemen in line with the defensive midfielders and that brand of football should be expected.

Hodgson has not just let down himself, but he has undid all the work that had been done over the past couple of years in restoring the reputation of the English managers

Change the manager if you don’t want to play in The Championship in next season.

Will be interesting a couple of weekends watching the derby match, the blue noses will be well up for it.

Just hope the Red Men have the fire in their bellies (seems to be missing for much of this season)

  • I know no-one is asking me but if they were, I would stick with Roy Hodgson as Manager as I believe in his ability to change things around sooner rather than later. Have Faith as he can’t go from being voted the BEST MANAGER in England to being the worst overnight. Give him a chance to prove hinself and do the right thing at ANFIELD as I believe he will.
