Former Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard’s agent Perry Overeem has stated that his client would welcome the opportunity of managing in England or Italy:
“He wants to choose major European football teams in the Premier League or Calcio. I think that is attractive to a coach who showed in Barcelona he has the ability to manage in the best leagues in the world. He will surely be working in one or two months.”
Rijkaard was heavily linked with Liverpool last month after he left his post at Galatasaray and Roy Hodgson was coming under pressure after a poor start to the season.

i think RIJKAARDS can make difference in LIVERPOOLFC if he’s appoint to take over the club from ROY because i still have the believe in his experience in football,i also ask the owners of the club to changes in the managerial post before the league hots up,its better to appoint RIJKAARD now than when the league get close to end.

Even the fans that want Hodgson to stick around admit that he is a short term option, so what is the point in wasting a couple of years on him (this certainly does not feel like a “stable” situation to me!) especially when we can start looking forwards immediately with a more progressive and proven manager???
We need a manager like hiddink or Rijkaard. But can anyone support me if I say what about Ian Holloway. We can see how blackpool is playing his tactics. They are ompeting with every team in EPL. Compare his performance with ROY with star studded team.
Please we need a manager who can’t sell our better youthful syst replacing them with old worn out one,buy flops of the century, paying them hugely with sense &ยง considers hiddink or van gaal
