Dutch Press: Reds linked with Hungarian winger

|

Sources in Holland have suggested that Liverpool are interested in PSV Eindhoven’s Hungarian winger Balazs Dzsudzsak. Apparently the Reds had scouts in the stands, along with Tottenham Hotspur, for the match between PSV and FC Utrecht at the weekend and the Dutch press have reported that both Liverpool and Spurs were scouting 23 year old Dzsudzsak. The Hungarian has been in impressive form in the last few seasons, finishing last season’s campaign with 14 goals as a left winger. He has already scored 7 goals this season with five coming in just five European games. Dzsudzsak has been a long term target for Arsenal, and with Liverpool lacking any real width on the left hand side, the Hungarian could be an interesting target.

TOP TEN LIVERPOOL MOMENTS OF THE DECADE

As we come closer to the end of 2010, I thought it might be good to look back at the last decade and see all the memorable moments Liverpool have had during that time. Of course, the most immediate memory is the Champions League final in 2005, but there are also individual memories such as Gerrard’s goals against Olympiakos in 2005 on the way to the “Miracle in Istanbul,” and the “Gerrard final” of 2006 where Stevie dragged the team to win the FA Cup. Also I have shared memories of instances that occurred under Gerard Houllier’s tenure such as the Golden Goal winner in the UEFA Cup final in 2001, Gary McAllister’s injury time free kick in the Merseyside Derby and John Arne Riise’s goal against Manchester United that nearly broke the goal post in two.

Summer we had Salcido, recently Afellay and Toivonen and now Dzsudzsak, how many more PSV players are we going to be linked with?

People need to know that the Dutch league is one of the easiest leagues for attackers to make a name for themselves. The quality of defending is horrendous. Kuyt is a prolific scorer in Holland! Enough said.

I think the new owners are going to have to invest big time in young premiership proven players during the next 1 or 2 transfer windows we can raise a lot of money through selling our squad players like Ryan Babel£8m, Christian Poulsen£4m, Sotiris Krygiakos£4m, Milan Jovanovic£5m, Alberto Aquilani£13.5m, Maxi Rodriguez£5m, Emiliano Insua£4.5m, Nabil El Zhar£1.5m, Philipe Degen£1.5m, Daniel Ayala£2m, while some of these are good players we really aren’t going to miss them that much and they could bring in nearly £50m and then if the new owners were willing to throw in £30-50m that is one hell of a pot to buy with if this were to happen I would like to see us move for Gareth Bale£25m{LB/LW}, Andy Carroll£15m{ST}, Ashley Young£18m{LW/RW}, Lassana Diarra£9m{CDM}, Gary Cahill£10m{CB} if we had the money I reckon these could be realistic targets but I don’t think we do have the money, Bale is in the CL now but if they don’t make it in agin this year he may well leave and the chairman has said if a big bid comes in they may have to sell, Andy Carroll is playing for Newcastle and while he loves the club i’m sure he would be interested in a move to Anfield as Newcastle will be lucky to break top 10 in the next year or 2 in my opinion even if they have had a great start, Ashley Young is stalling on a new contract at Villa and this is one of the most likely deals, Lassana Diarra wants out of Real and has been transfer listed for about £9m this guy can do the job that Poulsen unfortunatley can’t, Gary Cahill is playing for Bolton and has already said he would be interested in a move so i’m praying the new owners invest we don’t need to spend £300m like City have in the last 2 and a bit years just a few quality players 4 of these guys are British for the homegrown rule , all of them are premiership proven and they are all under 25 granted Young,Diarra and Cahill are on the border but if we could add these 5 players it would secure the clubs future imagine our squad Gerrard,Torres,Reina,Diarra,Bale,Young,Johnson,Cahill,Agger, Meireles,Cole,Carroll,Carragher,Kuyt,Lucas,Kelly,Konchesky, Jones,Skrtel, Shelvey,Pacheco,Wilson etc. i’m prayin
