According to Italian website Tutto Mercato, Liverpool are chasing Paris St-Germain and France centre-back Mamadou Sakho. The website has also linked the player with a move to AC Milan, Juventus and Arsenal and it believes Roy Hodgson is looking at bringing in the the young 20 year old defender with the Frenchman currently in contract talks with the French club as his deal expires in 2012. Now captain of PSG after being given the captain’s armband at just 17, Sakho also made his debut for France against England in the 2-1 victory at Wembley last Wednesday. He impressed during the performance and according to the site, he has attracted the attention of Damien Comolli and Roy Hodgson.
